Finally, some more news about DOAX2 :) DOAX2 Update (Famitsu Xbox 360) DOAX2 is finally in a playable form, but only Famitsu has had their hands on it. Everyone else will have to wait till the Tokyo Game Show. Vacation Mode This is the real mode of play in DOAX2. Just like DOAX1, it will take place over a two week period. From the start you can play beach volleyball and jet ski, all the other activities (mini games) need to be unlocked. To unlock the other activities you need to earn money and buy tickets from the sports shop. Start of the Game You start with a jet ski and old camera. It's called an old camera since it will feature manual focus. If you want a newer auto focus camera then you'll have to buy it from Zack's Shop. Visuals This time around the focus of visuals will be on high color saturation and avoiding excessive contract. Activities (mini games) Hopping game - from the original DOAX1 Girls back to back on floatation device - plays like rock-paper-scissors Beach Flag - smash buttons to run and hit B to dive for the flag Water Tug of War - not sure Water Slider - not sure Casio - earn cash Main Events Volleyball - you should know this by now Jet Ski's - more info below Volleyball Info This time around the camera will focus on the court rather than following the ball. This time around more points are scored for blocks and spikes. Jet Ski Info 1) There will be five different jet ski types (focused on speed and cornering). 2) Each type will have four classes (highest class has most power). 3) On Xbox Live the top class of each type will be featured. 4) The girls will not have specific abilities (because of the jet ski system listed above) Game Gravure Scenes 1) All of April, May, and June were used for motion capture 2) There will be over 170 gravure scenes (so 15+ per character) 3) There is an "impersonation" system which means any character can use the 170+ gravure scenes. 4) There are also "pair gravure scenes" which are unlocked by building up the relationship between two girls. 5) There will also be "rare gravure scenes" but no details as to how to unlock them yet. Hours of Play Currently, Itagaki expects it will take at least 20-30 hours to complete...just one character! Hopefully playing for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, nth time doesn't get boring if it always takes at least 20 hours per character. Tan lines will be visible when changing suits, so this means people will be able to tell what suits you like to use the most :) At this time it's unknown if the system can be turned off.
